If you need to learn Xactimate, you have come to the right place. I offer what I believe to be the best Xactimate Training on the market. I have trained hundreds of people on Xactimate and worked for numerous Insurance companies training their adjusters. The 3 day class is limited to 10 people to ensure all participants have an understanding of the material and have a firm grasp of how to use Xactimate. My qualifications to teach you Xactimate:
Background as an Instructor -
Many instructors know what to teach, but lack the ability to effectively transfer information to students. Before entering the Adjusting business in 2005, I was a classroom teacher/coach for 11 years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. My Xactimate class follows a carefully planned curriculum that I designed for individual student success in learning how to use Xactimate effectively.
Experience as an Xactimate Instructor -
I have successfully trained hundreds of individuals (Maybe 1000 +) on the use of Xactimate through both my own classroom training and providing instruction for other Xactimate providers and insurance companies. You will find my training recommended on these companies websites:
http://www.littleton-group.com/services/catastrophe/adjusters/adjusters_faqs.php#31 and http://www.cruadjusters.com/resources.html.
I have been teaching Xactimate since 2009. I was certified as a Level 3 User by Xactimate in April of 2009. In addition to teaching my own classes, I have also taught Xactimate, Licensing Classes, and Scoping classes for other companies.
Experience as an Adjuster -
I worked as an field adjuster during Hurricane Katrina from June 2006-June 2008 and wrote 2000+ damage estimates. I was a desk adjuster for Tropical Storm Fay (Aug/Sep 2008), a field adjuster for Hurricane Ike (Sep-Nov 2008),adesk adjuster for daily claims for Citizens Insurance (April/May2010), and a Team Lead for a hail storm in Alberta, Canada (May - July 2011). I am currently reviewing files for a Canadian Insurance Company from home.
Class Size -
For my three day Beginner/Intermediate classes, I limit my class size to 10 people.
As an instructor, this means I can answer questions and monitor comprehension which enables me to adjust my instruction accordingly.
Small classes also allow me to cover a greater amount of material then the "other guys" who pack in as many as they can sign up. As a participant you have more time to practice new skills learned and for me to offer you feedback as you progress.
